We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2023, at the age of 77, Jane Johnson (Newland, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Rev. Joe Powlas. She is survived by: her siblings, Laura J. Dorrer (John) of Topsham and Jerry Johnson (Elizabeth) of Etowah; her nieces, Jennifer, Michele and Melissa; her nephew Michael; and her close friend Wilma Biggerstaff. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
She was deeply touched by injustices across the world and faithfully donated to causes she believed in all through her life.
