He is survived by: his children, Sydney Nantz (James) of Sherrills Ford, Carolyn Gilbert (Ward) of Lincolnton and Jimmy Guy (Stacy) of Lincolnton; and his sisters, Tracy Reus (Jim) of Florida and Renee Guy of Sparta. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
