He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Vance and Cora Lee Vance; his siblings, Emma Lee Clawson (Allen) of Newland, Mary McGuire (Billy Joe) of Newland, Louise Clawson (Jim) of Newland, Martha Ann Vance of Roan Mtn, Roy Vance (Joann) and David Vance (Carolyn) of Newland; and his niece Billie Jean McGuire.
