She is survived by: her children, Danny Norwood (Lisa) of Newland, Ronnie Norwood (Deborah) of Newland, Stevie Norwood (Lisa) of Newland, Kathy Horney (Jimmy) of Banner Elk, Phyllis Arnette (Eddie) of Banner Elk and Janice Norwood of Newland; and her siblings, Barbara Ann Ward (Cecil) of Banner Elk, Mary Townsend (Junior) of Piney Creek, Floyd Townsend (Edna Earle) of Banner Elk and Jimmy Townsend (Ruby) of Laurel Springs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
