He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Junella Church; his daughters, Melita Russell of Beech Mountain, Edwina Church of Newland and Sheila Velasquez (Roberto) of Elk Park; his siblings, Keith Church (Reba) of Butler, TN, Tony Church (Debbie) of Texas, Merle Irick of Elizabethton, TN and Nancy Harmon of Butler, TN; his grandchildren, Tiffany Church, Brandy Dial, Kayla Calhoun, Dillon Huffaker, Hannah Presnell, Aiden and Kadence Russell; and his great grandchildren, Emmanuel Nichols, Sky Ramsey, Tristan, Rowan Dial, Jace and Rosie Calhoun.
