It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelious McKinney of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey McKinney and Tempie McKinney. He is survived by: his children, Clyde (Alice McKinney) of Newland, NC and Brenda Reeves of Holden Beach, NC; his grandchildren, Hollie Eudy, Tiffanie Reeves of Wilmington, NC and Mitchell McKinney of Newland, NC; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Violet and Ella.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (2011 Spanish Oak Rd, Newland, NC 28657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
