She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Lewis and Polly Mae Townsend of Foscoe, NC.. She is survived by: her sisters, Viola Daniels, Daisey Johnson and Lucy Hayes; her close friend Kathleen Hughes; and also Minnie Johnson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (12021 US-19E, Spruce Pine, NC 28777). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
