She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nolia Aldridge and Balsom Braswell of Newland; her siblings, Mae Braswell Brooks and Mose Braswell; her former husband Junior Hicks; her daughter Rhonda Kaye Hicks; her husband Robert Hartley; her grandson Sheldon Brooks (Michelle); and her stepchildren, Linda Hartley Burton (Paul Cameron), Patty Hartley Kincaid, Bob Hartley (Shay), Christy Hartley Gliddon (Fred) and Dr. Dianna Hartley. She was also cherished by other grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
