Though Clara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Clara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. W. Burleson and Edna Carpenter Burleson Aldridge (Illness); her sister Lila Beck; and her grandson Drew Jennings. She is survived by: her spouse A. Pickett Dickson, III; her daughters, Julia DeVane of Charleston, SC, Susan Dickson (David) of Richmond, VA and Ann Dickson (Will) of Richmond, VA; and her brother Chris Aldridge (Eva) of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
