With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Burleson Vance of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, McDonald Burleson, Sr. and Estelle Burleson; her husband Richard Vance; and her siblings, Irma Teston, Shelby Jean Gaskin, McDonald Burleson, Jr., James Burleson and Charles Burleson.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Vance of Newland; her brother Bernie Burleson of Newland; and her sisters-in-law, Zella Aldridge of Newland, Carolyn Braswell of Jonas Ridge and Betty Jean Lovin of Denver.
