Billie Ware Burleson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2020, at the age of 90, Billie Ware Burleson (Newland, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wright Ware and Sara Estelle Griffin Ware; her husband William Loren Burleson; and her daughter Lynda Wise. She is survived by: her children, Connie Greene (Ted) of Boone, NC, Martha Jo Buchanan (Bruce) of Newland, NC and Tommy Loren Burleson (Denise) of Newland, NC; her siblings, Dora Horney (June) of Newland, NC, Ben Ware (Luann) of Newland, NC and George Ware of Newland, NC; and her granddaughter Brooke Ruppard (BJ). She is also survived by mother and grandmother who truly loved her children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church or to the Critter Crib Wildlife Rehabilitation.
