We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2024, at the age of 77, Baxter Stirling of Newland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Andrew Stirling and Doris Jenette Stirling. He is survived by: his wife Jean Nelson Stirling; his children, Andrew Stirling Jr. (Brian) of Dallas, TX, Tommy Roberts (Brooke) of Holly Springs, NC, Mary Mac Hess of St. Petersburg, FL and Karrick Losinger (Matt) of Kingsland, GA; and his grandchildren, Jane, Calvin Stirling, Alli Brooke Hess, Lily and James Losinger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Avery County Habitat for Humanity.
