It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adam Wayne Harmon Sr. of Newland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Loy Bare (Granny Chick) and Sally Harmon (Maw). He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Harmon and Dianne Harmon (Bare) of Morganton, NC.; his wife Joy Harmon; his sons, A. J. Harmon, Dakota Harmon (Emmily) and Landon Harmon; his grandchildren, Asher, Adriyan, Davis, Calee and Preslee Harmon; his brothers, Devon Harmon (Kaleigh) and Justin Harmon (Paula); his mother-in-law Judy Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Johnson (Missy) and Scott Johnson (Christy).
A reception was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (933 Millers Gap Hwy, Newland, NC 28657).
