It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Hallman Jr. of New London, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hallman and Arttie Hallman (Ledbetter); his wife Elsie Mae Hallman; and his siblings, Larry Joe Hallman and Corita Purcell.

He is survived by: his son Alan Hallman of Asheboro, NC; his daughter-in-law Vickie Hallman; his daughter Suzanne Lauder (Doug); and his siblings, Daniel Hallman (Jackie), Jimmy Hallman (Patricia), Sylvia Bagbey and Gloria Bergey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
