He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton "Preacher" and Mabel Brinkley Sparks; his wife Saundra Kendall; his children, Jeffrey Wayne Sparks, Richard Alan Sparks (Kelly) and Kristen Michele Sparks; his stepchildren, Doug Henry (Lisa) and Cindy Elmore (Richard); his sister Beverly Butler (John); his grandson Thomas Dale Belk (Courtney); his niece Robin Garrett (Dane); his aunt Maxine Sparks; his cousin Terry Sparks (Jan); and his daughter Kim Sparks Belk. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives and friends.
