It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Brown of New London, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Aldine Hathcock and Gwendolyn Joyce Hathcock; her brother Chuck Hathcock; and her parents-in-law, Alfred Brown and Essie Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Brown of New London; her children, Anthony Brown, Nekita Brown and Brandy Brown; her brother Rick Hathcock (Tammy); her grandchildren, Kenny Poplin (Destiny), Christian Poplin, Isaiah Medley, Roger Brown, Kiera Brown and Serenity Brown; her great grandchildren, RaeLynn Poplin and Hudson Poplin; her sisters-in-law, Ethel (Orlando) of Washington and Betty Brown; her aunts, Zannie Wilson and Elizabeth; her friend Jena Lowder Watts; and also Depp Medley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
