He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Betka and Beatrice Abrahamson Betka; his wife Ina Dieckmann Betka; his grandson Daniel Betka; and his siblings, Michael Betka, Bev Putzi and Nancy Betka.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Betka (Melissa) of Richfield, NC and David Betka (Mandy) of Peyton, CO; and his grandchildren, Joshua Betka, Adalyn Betka, Josiah Betka, Jeremiah Betka and Lucas Betka.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
