It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon MacK Bruton (New London, North Carolina), who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bruton and Lillie Mae Lilly Bruton; and his wife Flora Mae Freeman. He is survived by: his children, Patricia A. Bruton, Sylvia M. Bruton and Charlie F. Bruton; his siblings, Catherine Clark, Mallard Bruton and Frank Bruton; his children, Brenda Brown (Eddie), Macqueline Paulley (Edward), Sharean Williams (Willie), Dina Bruton, Glen Bruton and Jared Bruton; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Watkins (Joe). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
