With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudine C. Carter (New London, North Carolina), who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman B Chandler and Tero Elizabeth Elliott Chandler; her husband Otha Carter; and her granddaughter Emily Carter. She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie L. Carter (Nancy) of New London and Mike A. Carter (Susan) of New London; her brother Bennie Chandler of Denton; her grandchildren, Kristen Cooper (Ricky), Shane Carter (Becca), Shannon Carter and Brian (Audrey); her great grandchildren, KJ, Anna Lynn, Cameron, Addyson Grace, Katelyn, Kyla, Ian, Eli and Eva; and her sister-in-law Marcella Hatley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mountain Creek Primitive Baptist Church (40232 Mountain Creek Rd, New London, NC 28127). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
