It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Nutt Womble of New Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Douglas and Mildred Nutt; her husband Wallace "Wayne" Womble Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Bertie Womble and Ethan Mayes.

She is survived by: her children, Jodi Gore (Matthew) and Jeffrey Womble (Lauren); her sister Willadean Mayes; and her grandchildren, Charlotte, Miller, Weldon Gore, Cecelia Womble, Luke and Savannah Brennan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to Womble Institute for Neurodiversity, 1152 Executive Circle Suite 100 Cary NC 27511, an organization Phyllis personally helped to launch in 2018.
