She was predeceased by: her daughter Laura Jane Holt; and her parents, Ruth Lawrence (Churchill) and Fred Lawrence. She is survived by: her husband Sherwood "Pete" Holt; her son Ray Holt of Apex; her sisters, Katie "Kay" Lawrence Poe of Apex, Faye Lawrence Nash of Hillsborough and Kayli Shelton Simmerson; and her pets, Levi and Duchess. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Olive Chapel Baptist Church Children's Playground Fund.
