He was predeceased by: his parents, Atlas Parker and Lola Tart Parker; and his siblings, Linda Parker Lee, Preston Parker, Mack Parker and Kent Parker.
He is survived by: his close friend Dakota; his wife Jeanette Comer Parker; his children, Heather Patterson (Tim) of Sanford, NC, Nick Parker (Megan) of Wilson, NC and Danyelle Martin (Tommy) of Sanford, NC.; his siblings, Hilda Nelson of Sophia, NC, Joyce Smith (Garland) of Broadway, NC, Sue Diggs (Bobby) of New Hill, NC, Anne Sears (Dennis) of Sanford, NC. and Gordon Parker (Vivian) of Moncure, NC; his grandchildren, Kennedy Thomas, Callen Martin, Cobe Martin, Bennett Parker and Cameron Parker; and his sisters-in-law, Dolores Parker, Patsy Parker and Karen Parker.
