He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Johnson and Mary Mercereau Johnson; his wife Beverly Jean Johnson; his son Kirk William Johnson; and his sister Elizabeth Cronce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristen Henry (David) and Karen Calsi (Robert); his grandchildren, Wesley Gan Kirk Johnson, Damien Calsi, Amelia Calsi, Alexandra Henry and Samuel Henry; his daughter-in-law Jo Yok Gan; his sister-in-law Phyllis Thorpe; his nephew Eric Cronce; and his niece Diane Quinn.
