It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Cleveland Tilghman (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pappas Tilghman of Cove City; his son Neal Tilghman of Richmond, Virginia; and his sister Eloise "Skinny" Davis of New Bern. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
