He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Jason, Scott and Morgan; his grandchildren, Madison, Wesley, Emma, Avery, Julie and Miller; and his sister Becky Branch Earley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Garber Methodist Church or Craven County Hospice, honoring Sonny's faith and commitment to his community.
