It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Allen Simpson of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Simpson and Laura Simpson; and his sisters, Daisy Duncan, Jackie Houston and Margaret Henries.
He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Simpson, Laura Love Simpson and Dorothy "Dot" Armstrong (Dickie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial contributions be made to Crystal Coast Hospice House, 100 Big Rock Weigh, Newport, NC 28570.
