We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2022, at the age of 72, Wallace Earl Barnett of New Bern, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Barnett; his sons, Skip Barnett, Jr. (Shelly) and Eric Barnett (Lauren); his grandchildren, Whitney Larmore (Ryan), Ryan Barnett and Aaron Barnett; and his great grandchildren, Piper and Gunner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to benefit the Craven Pamlico Animal Shelter. To do so, checks may be made payable to the Craven County Health Foundation (write "pets" in the memo line) and mail to 1639 Old Airport Road, New Bern, NC 28562.
