With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tillman Woodard Harris of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Harris and Lola Harris; his brothers, Frederick Harris and Sherwood Harris; his former wife Anna Mae Harris; his grandson Michael Brandon Harris; and his nephew Woody Harris.

He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Harris; his sons, Everett David Harris, Michael Wayne Harris and Tillman Alan Harris (Woody Woodcock); his stepdaughter Jennifer Lynn Kirby (Roderick); his grandchildren, Anna Kirby and Joel Kirby; his great grandchild Sky Harris; his sister Martha Ellen "Boots" Venters; his sister-in-law Doris Harris; and his nieces and nephews, Tina, Karen, Cheryl Kay, Leo, Larry and Savannah Shepard.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Tillman's honor to Pamlico United Methodist Church, c/o Tillie Roberts 9985 NC HWY 3065, Arapahoe, NC 28510.
