It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Simmons (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia Simmons; his daughters, Thalia Burt (William) and Subrena Davis (Carlton); and his sister Alfreda Collins (Charles). He was also cherished by four Grandchildren; one Great-Grandson.
