With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Joshua Zimmerman (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Elias and Glenna Mildred Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Scott (Gwen) and Janie; his grandchildren, Thaddeus, Elizabeth, Sarah, Kyle and Megan; his great grandchildren, Mikey, Lucas and Joshua; his siblings, Charles Richard "Rick" Zimmerman (Carol) of The Villages and Betty Lou "Tatie" Baumgardner (Gary) of Point; and also Mary Jane Tabler. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Donations in his memory can be made to Craven County Hospice or the St. Andrew Lutheran Church of New Bern, NC.
