She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Allen Anderson and Helen Corbin Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Drzal Rice (Evan) and Christopher Michael Drzal; her grandchild Reagan Jean Rice; her brother David Robert Anderson (Lillie); her niece Laura DeBerry; and her nephew Kevin David (Farhana).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salvation Army of New Bern at 1402 Rhem Ave., New Bern, NC 28560.
