He is survived by: his wife Janet Kuharich of New Bern; his children, Tracy Ann Franzoso of Abingdon, MD and Kevin Kuharich (Noelle) of Philadelphia, PA; his grandson Steven Kuharich of Philadelphia, PA; his sister Marsha; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Tuthill of Mooresville, NC..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steven' name to Craven County Hospice.
