He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jennie L. Wooten and Sim A. Wooten Sr.; his wife Judy Eason Wooten of New Bern; his children, Dawn Wooten Ferreira (Brad) of New Bern, George Eason Wooten (September Smith) of Morehead City and Simeon "Sonny" Augustus Wooten III of Stantonsburg; his siblings, Sarah Cox of Wilson, Annette Ludlam (Jack) of Annapolis, MD and William I. Wooten (LuAnn) of Wilson; and his grandchildren, Austin Ferreira (Emily) of Raleigh, Luke Ferreira of Clayton, Kody Wooten of Raleigh, George Wooten, Jr. (Nutjarawee) of Garner and Whitley Wooten of Beaufort. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
