It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Parker of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby York and Jessie York. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Lee Parker of New Bern; her daughters, Samantha Cook of New Bern, Melissa Eckler of New Bern and Donna Henries of New Bern; her siblings, Frankie York of New Bern and Janice Jones of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Brandy, Heather, David, Jessica, Hailey, Herman, Toni and Jimmy. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
