It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Irene (Barfield) Jarman of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Lee Barfield and Ida Hardison Barfield; her husband Oscar "Bud" Jarman; her son-in-law Charles Webb; and her siblings, Virginia Greer and Bill Barfield.

She is survived by: her children, Bryan "Buddy" Jarman, David Jarman, Ruth Webb and Timmy Jarman. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations can be made in her honor to Shriners Hospital For Children.
