It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Aylor (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Monteagle, Tennessee, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Aylor and Tressie Aylor; her sisters, Katherine Crick and Jo Ann McCord; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Crick and Durwood McCord.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Peters (Mary Todd) and Lisa Haidt (David); her grandchildren, Kayley, Rachel, Melissa Peters, Joshua and Anna Katherine Haidt; her sisters, Peggy Partin (Richard) and Eloise Howard (Mack); and her friend Stacy Ipock (Tony). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
