With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Clayton Kuhns of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Lakewood, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clayton, Sr. and Marie Isabel Strachan Kuhns; his wives, Vesta Aston and Nancy Cupples; and his daughter Dian Stauffer.
He is survived by: his children, Judith Coburn of Woodstock, GA, Elizabeth Kuhns of Bettie, NC and Roy C. Kuhns III of Wake Forest, NC.; his grandchildren, Kristopher Kuhns of Wake Forest, Michael LaPointe of Houston, TX, Daniel LaPointe of Flowery Branch, GA and Leslie Rosas of Concord, GA; and his great grandchildren, William Kuhns, Oliver Kuhns, Lillian LaPointe, Stella LaPointe and Luke Rosas. He is also survived by his many friends and neighbors.
