It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Ebon Hill Jr. of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland E. Hill, Sr. and Mary E. Simpson Hill; his wife Mary Frances Hill; and his sister Mary Ellen Moffitt. He is survived by: his children, Debra H. Register Fredricks (Ken) and Roland E. Hill, III (Tom); his close friend Lucy Dicktel; his grandchildren, Linwood R. Fulcher (Crystal), Joey Register (Ashley), John Register (Shannon) and Kevyn Fulcher (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Hailee, Bryana, Taylor, Logan, Braydin, Wesley, Kellyn, Brycen and Kacey; and his great great grandchild Bella. He is also survived by four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Trinity United Methodist Church Men's Club.
