He is survived by: his close friend Debbie Shaffer; his sons, Carey Austin Spencer (Rika Harlan), Jonathan Reid Spencer and Kevin Bradley Spencer (Sharon); and his brother Bennie Lee Spencer (Kay). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
