He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa Matto; his daughter Mary Ann Hall (Robert) of New Bern; his grandchild Christina Best (Timmy, Walt Hall); and his great grandchildren, Tristen Best and Bladen Hall.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fund or Shriners Crippled Children Hospital.
