It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Floyd John (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert John and Helyne John (Steinfeldt) of Fort Worth, TX; his brothers, Ray, Fred, Art "Akey", Bill and Randy; and his grandson Hunter Oldson.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen John; his sisters, Pam Underwood and Carol Hudson; and his son Robert "Chip" John. He is also survived by 6 step children; 14 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; many great & great-great grandchildren.
