He was predeceased by: his parents, James, Sr. Wood and Essie Mae Wood. He is survived by: his sons, Ashley Wood (Anne) and Zachary Wood (Carlyn); his siblings, James Wood, Jr. (Patricia), Wanda Long (Paul) and Elizabeth Arthur; and his grandchildren, Kai Wood and Rowan Wood.
