She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Louise (Simmons). She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Roger Wimer of New Bern, N. C.; her brother Donnie Leo Simmons; and her half-sister Rebecca Bibb Mawyer of Ruckersville, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as her brothers and sisters.
