It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Millie Burroughs (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Edwards and Polly Edwards; her son Ricky Lee Evans; and her siblings, Ray Edwards, Raymond Edwards, James Edwards, Billy Edwards, Bobby Edwards and Ruby Neal.

She is survived by: her son Tim Burroughs of Cary, NC; her brothers, Carl Glen Edwards (Virginia) of New Bern, NC and Douglas Edwards of New Bern, NC; and her nieces, Beverly Clark, Pam Edwards and Tammy McAfee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
