He is survived by: his wife Ada Vandiford Rice; his children, Wayne (Gwyn), Kevin Rice of New Bern and Ada Lynn Dixon (late Jimmy) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Phillip (Melanie), Rachel (Jon), Colby (Blake), Chase, Jada and Addy; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Hunter, Cali, Theodore, Charleigh, Emery, Shelby, Brenna, Warren, Brycen and Karsyn.
