Philip Edward Beutel Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Rosina Beutel (Pflederer); his siblings, David, Mary Eisenmann, Alvin, Helen Zimmerman, Barbara Moser, Ruth Koch and Nancy Koch; his daughter Gina Karres; his grandson Anthony Meador; and his brother-in-law Earl Caton.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Beutel; his children, Darla Oelschalger, Angela Casey (Shawn) of Quebec, Joe Beutel (Sherri) of Illinois and Maria Pipkin (Brandon); his siblings, Annette Schambach (late Ernie) of Illinois and Fred (Jeannette) of Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Beutel (Eunice Beutel), Ollen Caton (Elaine) and Penny Caton of Ohio. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Unity Christian Church (3380 St. Delights Church Rd, New Bern, NC) or your favorite charity in memory of Phil.
