He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Eileen Guerin Gorsuch; his wife Mary Gorsuch; and his brother Gerard Gorsuch. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Giddens (Allen) of Virginia Beach, Trish Smith (Adam) of Virginia Beach and Deborah Gorsuch-Hall of New Bern; his brother Robert Gorsuch of Yorktown Heights, NY; his grandchildren, Richard Kight, Teresa Kight and Joseph Hall; and his great grandchild Kennedy Walker.
