It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia JoAnn Freeland of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Kingwood, West Virginia, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elias Lipscomb and Mary Elizabeth Lipscomb (Simmons); her son-in-law Kevin Hillery; her brother George Lipscomb; and her nephew Andrew Lipscomb.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Hillery of New Bern, NC; her grandsons, Ethan Hillery (Paige) of Fairmont, WV and Jacob Hillery of New Bern, NC; her siblings, Donnie Lipscomb of Terra Alta, WV and Kathy Lewis of Terra Alta, WV; and her sister-in-law Ruth Lipscomb of Terra Alta.
