She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Daniel Jones and Marie Brinson Jones; her husband Manuel Lopez; and her brothers, E. D. Jones, Mack Jones and Dewey Jones.

She is survived by: her siblings, Janet Jones Hall Cox of Pamlico County, Malcolm Jones (Ellen) of Pamlico County, Katie Jones Armstrong of Pamlico County and Annette Jones Armstrong of Pamlico County; and her sister-in-law Margaret Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Reelsboro P.H. Church.
