With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Maides (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on July 7, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Best Stevens and Ither Stevens; her husband Robert Maides; her sons, Richard and Charles Maides; her granddaughter Renee Novakoski; and her siblings, Dorothy S. McKinzey and Ronald E. Stevens.
She is survived by: her brother Billy L. Stevens; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Rossie and Charlene Edwards. She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
